Bill Sr., Billy Jr., Gary, Joyce, Stan, Ernie, and DeWayne all make up the Bill Davison Family, a southern Gospel music band. The band was discovered by Pat Taylor, the wife of producer Bill Taylor. Pat found a copy of one of the Davison’s albums at a local store selling Bibles and church supplies. Bill Taylor listened to the album and was overcome with emotion from the Davisons’ music, most especially Gary Davison’s smooth tenor voice. Together Taylor and the Davisons produced the album “The Bill Davison Family Sings”.
